Faith 14:29

The appropriately titled debut album, has Greenville, South Carolina and anyone listening, thankful for FAITH having the faith to pursue their gospel destiny!  The gospel sensation
FAITH 14:29 (Matthew 14:29) hit the airwaves with clouds of heaven-sent harmonies and throaty praises.  Their rendition of "Precious Lord" debuted in the top #15 and was in the top 3 on South Carolina stations for over 8 weeks, while their original hit "Open Arms" currently maintains the #1 spot.  The group is comprised of (pictured clockwise) Willie ("Tiko") Thurman, Jr., Christopher
("Chris") Madden, Milton ("Milt") Owens, Jr. and (seated) Samuel ("Sammy") Dotson.  These native South Carolina young men sing truly heartfelt praises on every one of their songs, continuing to
draw new audiences with each radio spin.
Tiko, an associate minister, has opened for The Canton Spirituals, The Williams Brothers, The Christianaires, SWV, Troop and Christopher Williams.  He has also performed the National Anthem
for the NBA Charlotte Hornets and other local sports events.  Tiko continues to write, produce and perform in the Greenville, SC area, not only as a member of FAITH, but also as a solo artist and
as a duet with his wife Stacy.  He credits his musical influences to his family, all of the Winans, Commissioned and Luther Vandross.
Chris started his musical career at the age of 14 when he joined the Laurens District 55
marching band, playing percussion and receiving first the Freshman of the Year and later, the
Senior of the Year awards.  Chris knew then that music would be his career.  He applied for and
was granted a scholarship to attend South Carolina University, where he wrote and produced for many area artists.  Chris has opened for Queen Latifah, Tony-Toni-Tone, TLC and a host of
others.  Chris continues to write and produce music for many artists, along with his work for FAITH.
Milt, born and raised in Williamston, SC, grew up listening to his father's (Milton Sr., saxophonist and high school band director) classical 'big band' music, ranging from jazz to R&B.  Artist's Prince and Milton Sr.'s influence, inspired Milt to learn and play 14 different instruments and become a member of S.C. State University's marching band.  Milt also credits Jodeci, R. Kelly, Teddy Riley,
Kirk Franklin and John P. Kee for his desire to use his music ministry talents to bring the 'lost' to
the Lord through Christ.
Sammy began singing in church, at the age of six.  Sammy, a Greenville, SC native, pursued
his love of singing and began performing around the local area.  Sammy originally sang R&B,
where his talents provided him opportunities to open for nationally known artists The Gap Band, SWV, Frankie Beverly and Maze, Roger Troutman and Zap, The Isley Brothers, Christopher
Williams, Angela Winbush, Jagged Edge, Glenn Jones, II The Extreme, Case and H-Town.
Sammy's first love is gospel, and his silky smooth vocals granted him access to open for artists
John P. Kee, Shirley Ceaser, The Williams Brothers and Lee Williams & The Spiritual QC's.  He
also landed several roles in gospel plays, stage productions and shows, including Don't Give
Up On Your Dreams, 'Til Victory is Won, A Night of Stars & Dreams, No Stopn' Us Now, God's Trombone, Let The People Rejoice, Mary Had A Baby, A Black Nativity featuring Donald
Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, Ricky Dillard, Tremaine Hawkins, as well as a performance on national television's Showtime at the Apollo.
Matthew 14:29 – So He said “Come.”  And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he
walked on the water to go to Jesus.  Matthew 14:30-31 – But when he was that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying “Lord, save me!”  And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him “O ye of little faith,
why did ye doubt?”
